Evil Mad Scientist

Pam got a science kit at the store today. It is a make your own snow and glaciers. She was having a lot of fun with it. The snow isn't real but at least it didn't melt in the heat.

Baseball...

On Friday we went camping up near Granite Falls. After a night of camping, we went downtown to a baseball game. The Mariners lost the game but we had fun. Anthony likes taking pictures so I gave him the camera. We were all very tired when we got home.

Camping and rain

We went camping Friday night. It was rainy. We had a good time and the kids had fun. This was James first time camping. He seemed to like the sleeping bags.

Oh, what a beautiful day...

It's a nice sunny day in Seattle. What? Wait a second! Sunny and Seattle in the same sentence? Yes and it has been for a while now. So I let the kids out to enjoy the day before Pam heads to gymnastics. Aaron wasn't outside because he's at Scout Camp this week.

James likes food.

Anthony wanted to help me feed James his lunch. James was thrilled to have his big brother help him.

James is mobile...sort of

Yesterday, James decided he could crawl. He's not very fast yet, but he gets where he wants to go. Also he tried to pull himself up to standing at the coffee table but he didn't make it. Maybe next time. He can sit up on his own now. So look out world here he comes.

What a mess

Ok. So today Jaime and I took the kids for a walk to the park. We decided to go to 7/11 first since they were giving away free Slurpee's. Along the way we picked up trash along the sidewalk. We were amazed at all the stuff people just throw on the ground.Anthony liked the idea of the cold treat. I think Anthony was worried that there was no park. It was a long walk but the kids had fun.

Chef Anthony

The other day Jaime and I bought Anthony a Chef hat at Costco. Anthony is always helping me out in the kitchen and says "I'm a chef."

Happy Independence Day!!

We had a fun time yesterday with bottle rockets and black cats. Friends of the kids shared their bounty.
Pam had a great time at her sleep over. She was thrilled to see all the fireworks we had won.

James spent most of the day eating and watching the big kids.

Anthony loved the Snap its. He had to stomp on them because when he threw them they bounced. James was loving the noise and colors.

Anthony had a blast with the sparklers. He danced all around with them.

We lit off all of our stuff and had a wonderful time. Then we went down the street to the mall and watched the Firework show. By the time we got home Anthony and James were passed out. Aaron and Pam went down the street to a friends house and lit off more stuff till around1am. Needless to say we are all tired today and had a rough start getting to church this morning.

for free?

So yesterday we went out to get fireworks. We bought a few things for the kids. Jaime and I didn't want to spend a lot because we are going to the Lynnwood Fireworks Show tonight. But there was a drawing for a big box at the place we bought our stuff and Jaime put his name in. We got a call last night saying we won!

Here are Aaron and Anthony standing next to the box (Pam was at a sleepover).

This is what was insde the big box.

And this is what we bought added to the winnings.
