Camping and the river.

We went camping on Friday. The kids love going up to the campground. They also love going into the freezing cold river. Jaime braved it up to his knees. I just didn't go near it. I had James. We all had fun and are home safe and dry.

Aquasox baseball and gymnastics?

Pam's gymnastics team did a pre-game show for the AquaSox yesterday. The girls had a lot of fun at the game. Anthony met the puppet outside the stadium before the game. He cracked a few jokes and gave Anthony the toy you see below. Aaron decided to make signs for the game. On one side he supported his sister and on the other the Aquasox.

Wendy Clark, a mom of one of Pam's teammates, took a bunch of pictures of the team and shared them with all of us. The girls are practicing. This is Webbley. The girls all lined up ready to perform.Pam is hidden behind the older girls. This was during the Star Spangled Banner. James was having fun with daddy.
Anthony started to get a little bored.
Pam, Katie and Leah.

I'll try to post the video when I get a chance.

Note to self...

don't let Aaron feed the baby. I think more food ended up on James than in him.

James vs. the crib

I was in the boys room helping Anthony clean his room because I need to put the crib mattress down lower for James. James has been pulling himself up to his knees for a couple of days now and I don't want him falling out of the crib. I was sitting on the floor putting Thomas trains away I looked up to see James standing up in his crib. As I started to stand up to get him, he let go of the crib with his arms up and squealed with delight at his new found skill. Before I got there he fell head first into the crib rail. He was now very upset at his crib. After calming him down, I put him back in the crib. He laid there for a long time as I cleaned the floor. Then he was up on his knees biting the crib rail while grunting and making all sorts of noise. I thought it was very cute that he was "getting back" at the crib for hurting him.
He was very proud of himself as I was giving him his lunch.
Hmmm. I can now text to the blog. This is kinda cool.
