Pam

A friend of ours at the gym takes pictures during the year of all the girls on the team. These are a few of the ones of Pam that she gave us last week.

Pam at a meet. She just finished her bar routine.

She is so focused during practice.

Pam after her vault during a meet. Coach Brittany cheering her on.
I love this last one. It has Pam, Julie and Katie being silly up on the beam.

Aquasox baseball and gymnastics?

Pam's gymnastics team did a pre-game show for the AquaSox yesterday. The girls had a lot of fun at the game. Anthony met the puppet outside the stadium before the game. He cracked a few jokes and gave Anthony the toy you see below. Aaron decided to make signs for the game. On one side he supported his sister and on the other the Aquasox.

Wendy Clark, a mom of one of Pam's teammates, took a bunch of pictures of the team and shared them with all of us. The girls are practicing. This is Webbley. The girls all lined up ready to perform.Pam is hidden behind the older girls. This was during the Star Spangled Banner. James was having fun with daddy.
Anthony started to get a little bored.
Pam, Katie and Leah.

I'll try to post the video when I get a chance.

Helping Hands Gymnastics meet.

OK. Well.....the day could have been a lot worse. We forgot to set our clocks ahead. Thank goodness Jaime noticed in time. Pam had to be at her meet by 8:45am. Jaime noticed at about 8:30am. Needless to say, I think we beat some kind of record for a family of 6 getting ready and out the door in about 5 mins. Alright, I admit it. I left James in his jammies. But come on...

Anyway. we made it in time. But I did forget the camcorder. Sorry. Here are her scores:

Vault 7.90

Bars 7.5

Beam 8.7

Floor 7.0

All Around 31.1

Paws and Claws

Pam went to the Paws and Claws Gymnastics Invitational. This was Pam's first gymnastics meet. She was a little nervous but did a great job. They warmed up on all the events first then they walked in to present themselves . The Gymagine Team is Leah, Pam, Anna and their Coach Angela.

The first event for the girls was the Vault.

Pam did very well. Her score was 7.5. Next, the girls went to the Bars.

Pam's score was a 7.75. She was thrilled that she almost did the mill circle on her own. The mill circle is the one where she has her legs scissored above the bar and then goes around. Next the beam.

Pam did a great job staying on the beam. Her score was a 8.0. Her last event was the Floor.

Pam's score was a 8.0. So her All Around score was a 31.25 . She did a great job and had a lot of fun. After all the girls were done they handed out awards. Each girl recived a trophy and goodie bag.

We celebrated by coming home and having pizza.

The kids are busy

Pam was so excited to get the team pictures taken the other day. She is working really hard in gymnastics. I can't wait to see how she does at her first competition in February. Here is a picture of her. If you click on it you can see the other two pictures.

The rest of us are doing good. I have been so tired lately that napping is now my favorite activity.

It's been a while

I know that I have not posted as much as I'd like. I have been very busy now that school is over. The kids are all over the place these days.

Pam made the Team. She now has gymnastics 2 times a week for 2hours each time. She is loving the "workouts". Already I see a lot of improvement in what she can do. Aaron is now a Webelos Scout. This is keeping him very busy. And Anthony still says he's the baby.

The boys have a father/son campout this weekend. Anthony is thrilled. He got his own "brand New" sleeping bag.

I had a doctor appointment today. The baby and I are doing great. I lost 6lbs. since my last visit a month ago. We are scheduled to have an ultrasound on the 18th of July. We will let you know what is up. Other than that we are just taking time to play with the kids. I'll try to post more often but no guarantees.

We are alive

I know it has been awhile since I last posted. I have been all over the place.

First off, Jaime and I are announcing the pending arrival of another little Snyder. I am due Dec 8. I am still looking for a doctor so no ultrasound pictures yet.

Pam had tryouts for the Gymnastics team this past Friday. We will let you know as soon as we get the letter in the mail.

I am trying to upload some video from Pam's Gymnastics Show that was a couple of weeks ago. So hopefully I'll have something up before too long.

For those who have not gone to the flickr account recently I've upload a few pictures for Scouts (both Cub and Daisy) and from Emerald City Comic-Con.

Aaron was very happy to meet Jeff Parker. Jeff was very nice and took time to really talk to Aaron. Aaron was thrilled. Click on the picture to see more.

What a weekend...

We have been very busy around here. Pam lost her first tooth this past week. And Pam had a gymnastics lesson on Sat. Getting up and out the door by 8:30am is a little tough.

After her lesson we decided to go to Denny's. Pam just loves the pancakes.

It was a beautiful day. So once we got home, we loaded up the stroller and took a walk to the park. We also went to the Lynnwood Pool for the open swim. All the kids had a great time.

Yesterday, we drove down to Portland. I really wanted to go to the Portland Comic Book Show. We had a good time and bought some neat toys.

Saturday, March 29, 2008

Oh what fun...

Pam had a make-up lesson at 9am. She was a little tired but having daddy there to watch made her very happy. We went to Denny's after the practice. Anthony started saying yum as we pulled into the parking lot.

More Anthony

For those who are unaware, Anthony had surgery this past September to improve his hearing. Jaime and I were concerned that Anthony was not speaking. He would babble and then get very angry that no one understood him. Anthony's doctor sent us to a specialist who had a complete hearing test done. It turned out that he had fluid in his estuation tubes and needed to get them drained. The doctor also put tubes in his ears to help prevent them from filling again. Anthony didn't hear us before. Imagine being under water and people talking to you. That’s the way Anthony heard every thing for the first 2 1/2 years of his life.

The hope was that after the surgery he would start talking because he could now hear. For the first few months, I was a little worried that there was something else wrong. He really wasn't doing much better. But now almost every day there is a new word or even a sentence. His progress is amazing to me.

His favorite words lately are why and toy car.

And just to prove that yes we still do have the other two kids, here are a few current pictures.

Pam loves gymnastics.

Aaron still likes playing basketball. He is getting pretty good at it too.
